About The Owner/Chairman

The AQI group was founded in 1956 by late Sheikh Abdullah Mubarak Al-Sabah, who died in 1991. Then after his death, the company was inherited by his son Sheikh Mubarak Abdullah Al-Mubarak Al-Sabah. He is a Kuwaiti entrepreneur and a notable member of the House of Sabah, the ruling family of Kuwait. He is the Owner and chairman of AQI GROUP, Action Hotels, Action Real Estate as well as vice-chairman of their parent family holding company Action Group Holdings. Mubarak was also previously the founding chairman of the Qurain Petrochemical Industries Company until its merger in 2022 with the Kuwait Projects Company.
